Pitmaster Tom Dunphy and the team at Mutiny BBQ Company are bringing high quality, small batch BBQ to Asbury Park. With a focus on traditional processes, they hope to elevate BBQ to new culinary heights.
Mutiny BBQ Company employs a “pit to plate” strategy with an emphasis on serving only fresh BBQ daily. They do not reheat and re-serve meats. The result is some of the most tender, juicy, and flavorful BBQ you’ve ever had.
Employing techniques and flavor profiles from BBQ destinations like Texas, Tennessee, the Carolinas, and Louisiana; Mutiny BBQ’s hybrid style will have something for everyone.
Even the menu has the look and feel of a southern BBQ joint, with meats served by weight and scratch-made sides sold ala carte. It’s all served traditionally on metal trays lined with peach butcher paper.
Mutiny BBQ Company is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11 to 8 and Sunday from 11 to 6. Dine-in is available both indoors and outdoors as well as takeout and delivery via DoorDash.
